Why Settle for a Post, When You Can Have a Newsletter?

I'm overjoyed to inform you that we've reached a significant milestone, we now have 4,000 newsletter subscribers!

I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who has helped us along the way.

This accomplishment would not have been possible without your trust, loyalty, and engagement. We are grateful for your support and will continue to work hard to create valuable content that speaks to you.

We also recognize that with a larger community comes greater responsibility. As we grow, we will strive to create an inclusive and diverse environment in which everyone feels welcome to participate and share their ideas.

So, a huge thank you to everyone who has been a part of this journey with us and provides topics they would like us to explore. We're excited to see where this expansion takes us, and we hope you'll continue to be a part of it.

Keeping this in mind, this week's topic will be the value of LinkedIn newsletters and the importance of starting one rather than simply posting on LinkedIn.

A LinkedIn posting and a LinkedIn newsletter are two distinct ways of sharing content on the platform. A LinkedIn posting is typically a brief update or article shared with your network. A LinkedIn newsletter is a more formal and structured way of communicating with your network. They are usually sent on a regular basis (weekly, monthly, etc.) and contain curated content, industry news, and original articles written by the creator. Subscribers can opt-in to receive the newsletter, which is delivered to their inbox.

Newsletters are frequently used by thought leaders and influencers to build their personal brands as experts in their field, and provide value to their audience on a regular basis.

The first step is to determine whom you are writing for. As a studio owner, do you want to gain more clients and build trust, or do you want to build your employee brand and attract top candidates, or both? Once this is established, you can decide what to write about. For example, if you are writing to potential clients, you might want to write about a topic that is a pain point for your clients and help them solve the problem. If you are writing to build your studio brand, communicate with potential clients/candidates, and keep them engaged in the recruitment process, newsletters are a valuable tool. With so much competition for talent, recruiters must stay top of mind and cultivate relationships with potential candidates. Newsletters can help with this goal in a variety of ways.

For starters, newsletters can provide consistent updates on job openings, company news, and industry insights. Even if a candidate isn't actively looking for work right now, this keeps them informed and engaged. Recruiters and hiring managers can build trust and credibility with potential candidates by providing valuable information that is relevant to their interests. This can pay off in the long run. They can be used to highlight company culture and employee success stories. This gives potential customers and candidates a better idea of what it's like to work at the company and can help attract candidates who fit the company culture. They can help recruiters and hiring managers build relationships with potential candidates, stay top of mind, and improve the recruitment process. Newsletters can help recruiters attract and retain top talent by providing valuable information, showcasing company culture, and gathering feedback.

Ultimately, this form of communication can be used to solicit candidate feedback and improve the hiring process. Recruiters can learn more about what candidates want in a job and how they perceive the company's recruitment process by soliciting feedback via surveys or polls. This can aid recruiters in improving their processes and attracting more qualified candidates.

As always, thank you for reading and we hope you found this newsletter informative and encourages you to start your own. We wish you all the best in your search for top talent and as always, if you have any related questions or need any help, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. Stay tuned for our next newsletter where we'll delve deeper into some of the most effective strategies.
